Hear from global supply chain expert, Dave Ffowcs-Williams about the preparedness, resilience and the future of our biggest export market
About this Event
Controlling the Oscillating Supply Chain
As an isolated island nation at the bottom of the world, New Zealand has shown that the size of your population isn't proportionate to our production and export power. In light of recent pandemic events, the future for New Zealand relies on the success of primary exports in order to help restart the economy, but that is a sector that needs to operate as one system rather than working in silos by stage.
Join us to hear from Dave who is actively focusing on supply and value chains in NZ primary industries, how he sees the role of each cog in the primary industry supply chain playing their part, what disruptions are evident and what can be done to mitigate the risk of disruptions. Dave will share his own experience, his strategic forethought and how NZ can focus on capturing market value in primary industry supply chains.
Come prepared with your questions, gain a new perspective and be inspired to develop (or improve) your own strategy and strengthen your connections.
